Saturday Pride Parties

Saturday is the highlight of Amsterdam Gay Pride, with celebrations taking over the city. The energy builds throughout the afternoon, and by evening, Amsterdam turns into one big party.

Street parties kick off around 15:00 and tend to fill up quickly. Be aware that Saturday is much busier than Friday—expect crowd control measures, gates, and queues at most locations.

At night, there’s something for everyone: from high-energy muscle dance parties to bear events, from pop hits to dark techno and play parties.

Regular bars and clubs are open as well, but those located within a street party area can only be accessed by passing through the party gates.
